Artist Statement | Declaración de artista
Como artista, específicamente como fotógrafa busco paisajes memorables para que la imagen forme parte de tu imaginación. Busco que la pieza sea limpia y lo más natural posible ya que he elegido seguir una fotografía alternativa. Expreso un redescubrimiento con los contrastes y la iluminación. Mi enfoque en fotografía es siempre buscar el mejor ángulo del consumidor. En resumen interpreto un mundo vibrante, lleno de sueños en la lluvia y construyo la realidad en mi versión personal.
As an artist, specifically as a photographer, I look for memorable landscapes so that the image becomes part of your imagination. I want the piece to be clean and as natural as possible since I have chosen to follow an alternative photography. I express a rediscovery with contrasts and lighting. My approach in photography is always looking for the best angle of the consumer. In short, I interpret a vibrant world, full of dreams in the rain and I build reality in my personal version.

My Biography
Bianca Ramírez Ramos, known as “Luna”, was born in Caguas, Puerto Rico, on August 26, 1994. Since the gift of her first Sony Cyber-shot camera, she realized that she is passionate about shooting fauna and flora. However, she started taking photos when she was 12 years old with the desire to work as a photographer for National Geographic. Bianca Ramirez studied at Caguas Military Academy (Adler College) in Caguas, Puerto Rico since ninth grade and finished her fourth year as a second lieutenant in JROTC. During her high school career, Bianca took photos of her classmates and school, and her contribution of these was used for the "Photobook" of the class. Upon graduating from the fourth year, he enrolled at the Interamericana to study social work. On August 18, 2013, he began his study adventure at the Universidad del Sagrado Corazón. During her time at university, she has had the opportunity to meet new people who have helped her develop her passion for photography. Her most outstanding skills as a photographer are her personality and perspectives of how she sees the “Universe through her eyes”.
Since his father Orlando Ramírez passed away in 2019, his style of photography has changed to a more “raw” world such as photojournalism and surreal photography. Since then, she had a two-year mental break which helped her appreciate and look at the life of the universe using photography as her way of escape.
